The game was announced in 2019. Three years later, we find out that the release is planned for 2023. We are still a long way from playing. Diablo IV Plot and Characters
One thing we can all agree on is that Blizzard makes spectacular cinematics. The announcement video for Diablo IV introduced Lilith, the new antagonist, in style. But first, let’s see who she is. Fathered by the Lord of Hatred, Lilith is known by many names. From Mephisto, she inherits the Daughter of Hatred moniker. In one of the many battles of the Eternal Conflict, Lilith captured the angel Inarius. A strange bond was formed between them. The duo gathered some allies and stole the world stone. Using this incredibly powerful item, they’ve created the world that would be known as Sanctuary. The name signifies that this is a place untouched by the Eternal Conflict. Lilith and Inarius populated Sanctuary with a new race. Their offspring are the Nephalem, the characters we play in Diablo III. Drawing abilities from both angels and demons, the Nephalem grew very powerful. So powerful that the angels on Inarius’s side thought of killing them all. To save her children, Lilith killed all the angels. Inarius banished her into the void. He then tweaked the world stone to weaken the Nephalem over time. This is how humans were born. Diablo IV takes place after Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. Lilith is brought back to Sanctuary. The cinematic shows cultists making human sacrifices to bring back The First Mother. The ritual succeeds and Lilith makes her grand entrance. At the time of these events, the angels and demons have grown weak in numbers. The Eternal Conflict has subsided. This leaves a window of opportunity for Lilith to take over Sanctuary. She is back and we know that her intentions are far from being peaceful. The Diablo IV class roster features five characters. Each one has its motivation for opposing Lilith. Her plans are still unclear. We are sure we will face many powerful enemies before we get to confront Nephalem’s progenitor. We cannot wait to see how the story goes.

AprDiablo 4 – Diablo, Lord of Terror: Chapter ThreeRead MoreWhile Diablo 4’s launch may still be a long ways off from now, U7BuyGames is already dedicated to offer the cheapest Diablo 4 Gold on the market right now!
After the formation of the Triune in Chapter Two, Diablo now faces two (2) obstacles to his scheme of converting the Nephalem – humanity – to Hell’s side, with the angel, Inarius, and the powerful mage, Uldyssian, both oppositions to his plans and also each other as well.
Diablo and his elder Prime Evils have cleverly set up the cult of Triune to convert humanity towards the Burning Hell’s side in the everlasting Eternal Conflict between angels and demons, yet this is seemingly challenged by the angel, Inarius, who had also formed the Cathedral of Light to rival the influences of the Triune in Sanctuary.
With the rise of the mighty Uldyssian and his Edyrem also becoming a threat to the Triune’s existence, it would seem that Diablo will have a lot of opposition to overcome in order to ensure that the Prime Evil’s plans come to fruition.
DIABLO, LORD OF TERROR: CHAPTER THREE
With the Edyrem now established, Uldyssian intended to end the Sin War between the Triune and Cathedral of Light in Sanctuary.
Targetting the Triune first, Diablo caught wind of Uldyssian’s plan from his trusted demonic minion, Astrogha.
Knowing that Uldyssian had defeated his other mighty underling, Gulag, at the time, Diablo was intrigued to know about this.
However, after Uldyssian had successfully brought down the Triune at each of its temples, Diablo visited his long-time enemy, the angel Inarius, to offer an alliance in order to stop Uldyssian and the Edyrem in their tracks.
Bewildered at the thought, Inarius eventually agreed to cohort with Diablo due to the fear of Uldyssian moving forward with his next plan of action – destroying the Cathedral of Light.
With Malic, a human servant of the Triune, now at Inarius’ side, Diablo was now always aware of the angel’s plans, something that pleased him.
At some point in time afterwards, Diablo finally came face-to-face with Uldyssian himself.
Diablo offered a new pact with Uldyssian, stating that Inarius and the angels have a skewed view of sin, and their biased beliefs also favoured the desolation of the Nephalem.
Uldyssian outrightly rejected the proposal, angering Diablo to a point where they finally battled each other.
As powerful as he was, Diablo was a much more experienced monster due to his endless wars with Heaven, and the battle was one that could have easily fallen to either party.
Through an act of intelligence, Uldyssian casted a mirror of ice from nearby water to reflect Diablo’s oncoming fear attack back at him.
Upon tasting his own nightmares for the first time, Diablo was caught off-guard and finally fled the scene, leaving Uldyssian as the victor of the fight.
Later, Uldyssian and the Edyrem eventually defeated Inarius and destroyed the Cathedral of Light as well, catching the attention of the Angiris Council from the High Heavens.
Upon seeing Uldyssian sacrificing himself to not unleash the full extent of his Nephalem powers in favour of saving Sanctuary – resulting in his demise – both the Angiris Council and demonic Lords of Hell agreed to allow humans to live free from any of their interferences.

With his essence trapped inside the Soulstone, Sanctuary has been at peace for a very long time while Diablo continues to contemplate his actions, unaware that his opportunity to escape might already be closer than ever.
Under the monastery built by the Horadrim, Diablo continues to be tormented by his capture, ever yearning for release back into the world.
With the town of Tristram now under the just stewardship of King Leopric, Diablo’s opportunity might come sooner than expected.
DIABLO, LORD OF TERROR: CHAPTER SIX
After long years of being imprisoned inside the Soulstone, Diablo was actively contemplating his actions in order to finally be free from his cage.
As time flies by, the town of Tristram near Diablo’s location in Khanduras is now under the rule of a fair and honourable king, King Leoric.
King Leoric has supervised plenty of town improvements and growth for all the people, and his throne lies close to the heart of Tristram itself, filling Diablo with joy upon knowing that there are now people nearby for him to manipulate into setting him free.
For starters, Diablo had come into the dreams and visions of the king’s archbishop, Lazarus, to lure him into the depths of the catacombs to meet with Diablo himself.
Using Lazarus’ fears and terrors against him, Diablo managed to subdue the weak will of the man, and subsequently controlled him to break the Soulstone that encased him for so long.
Although free, Diablo was just a shadow of his former demonic self, too weak due to the years of depravity from people’s fears and nightmares which empower him.
Diablo elected Lazarus as his new servant, sharing all about the events and secrets of Sanctuary, High Heavens and the Burning Hells leading up to this point.
Lusted for power, Diablo had promised Lazarus untold amounts of it upon his revival, and this led to his immediate conversion into becoming Diablo’s accomplice.
Next, Diablo swiftly persevered in trying to corrupt the pure mind and soul of the strongest individual in Tristram itself – King Leoric.
Believing that the mightiest of foes can become the most valuably ally, Diablo sought to use the king’s body as his own, believing that his strong stature can be of prolonged use for him.
After a few months of endless mental battle, King Leoric was aware that something was trying to possess him as he constantly fought off the thought of mayhem, murder and evil deeds from his mind, trusting that his own faith is strong enough to let him prevail.
Throughout it all, Lazarus kept a close watch on the king, electing to distract or shift others’ focus from the diminishing state of the ruler.
Even King Leoric’s innocent wife, Asylla, was not spared from this treachery, decapitated by her own husband through order of execution manipulated by both Diablo and Lazarus.
Upon Lazarus’ deceit, King Leoric was also advised to wage war against the regions of Westmarch, shifting most of the king’s closest allies and troops away from home in order to allow Diablo as much room to corrupt him as possible.
Eventually, King Leoric finally succumbed to Diablo’s influence, defeated by his weariness of his mental fortitude to the consistent dark thoughts bred by the demon lord.
Diablo finally took over King Leoric’s body, satisfied with the events that had transpired.
During this time, Diablo had changed Tristram from being a land of prosperity and happiness to that of doom, sadness and despair.
Still, although Diablo maintained supremacy over King Leoric’s mind and body, his will was still unbreakable, and this prevented Diablo from truly controlling him in its entirety.
With that, Diablo found a new victim to become his next host, one that came in the form of King Leoric’s youngest son, Prince Albrecht.
Chapter Seven will continue with Diablo’s evil machinations upon the unsuspecting townsfolks of Tristram, so make sure to stay tuned for that too!

MarDiablo 4 – Diablo, Lord of Terror Chapter Four (Prime Evils, Part 12)Read MoreHome to all the cheapest in-game currencies to date, U7BuyGames is the best place for you to buy Diablo 4 Gold once the game finally lands sometime next year!
For a time, Sanctuary was finally free from any interventions of the High Heavens or the Burning Hells, yet as is with Diablo’s nature, the Prime Evil soon gazed upon a growing city in Sanctuary with interest, plotting to corrupt it into becoming a conduit for Hell’s forces to invade the world.
Now finally at peace from the influences of both the High Heavens and Burning Hells, humans in Sanctuary are able to find their own path in life.
Still, Diablo continues to plot a way for his brethren to conquer Sanctuary as a whole, seeking to use them as a stepping stone for the powers of Hell to finally trump the angels in their war of the Eternal Conflict.
DIABLO, LORD OF TERROR: CHAPTER FOUR
For a time after the Sin War, people of Sanctuary began to prosper as they found ways to continue living without the interjections of both angels and demons.
One such community was of Ureh – the Light of all Lights – a city blessed with riches and wealth, its citizens full of health and happiness.
However, this caught the attention of the Lord of Terror, Diablo, and soon, he began to find ways of corrupting the proud people of the city, hoping to use them for his ends.
Instead of brute force, Diablo used cunning and subterfuge to manipulate the minds of the citizens and important folks.
Nevertheless, the most powerful of the city’s mages were aware of this and immediately banded to create powerful barriers around the city, halting Diablo’s advances.
While this may have stopped the demonic lord temporarily, he devised other ways to corrupt the city, this time tainting the land and wildlife surrounding Ureh, stopping foreign merchants from travelling there while also spoiling the encompassing resources.
Cleverly, Diablo used this ploy to his advantage, coming to the ruler of Ureh, Juris Khan, as visions of himself disguised as Archangel Mirakodus.
He manipulated Khan by deceiving him into doing his biddings, promising that the High Heavens have noticed the city’s plight from Diablo and seeks to save them by allowing the city to transcend into Heaven.
Through this, Diablo told them of a portal spell which would teleport Ureh there, but in reality, Ureh would subsequently be delivered to Hell while the portal will be used as a passage for demons to invade Sanctuary.
Amongst the high-ranking sorcerers of Ureh, Gregus Mazi was the first to uncover this scheme, and due to his major role in contributing to the spell’s success, he changed certain aspects of the ritual to stop Ureh from entering Hell but trapping the city in Limbo between planes.
Upon discovering Mazi’s purported betrayal, Khan expelled him from the city before they were all brought into the portal, leaving Mazi alone at Sanctuary while he saw his beloved city of Ureh vanish in front of his own eyes.
While Ureh continues to be suspended between Hell and Sanctuary, Diablo continued to corrupt every citizen inside the city unobstructed.
Diablo hopes to use the city again when the right time comes for someone in Sanctuary to unwittingly find a way to restore the city back into the world, letting him continue with his plan of Hell’s invasion upon the realm.
There is still a lot to talk about Diablo, so continue following us for Chapter Five of the demon lord’s backstory, coming soon!
