The NFL announced 16 finalists are going to compete with each other in the annual event Madden NFL 22 x HBCU Tournament during Super Bowl LVI week. HBCU represents Historically Black Colleges and Universities, the 16 finalists climbed to the top of the rank after 5 single-elimination qualifying tournament.
According to the NFL officer Natara Holloway in an interview, she’s excited to team up with EA to bring this tournament back and create this once-in-a-lifetime experience for the next generation, and offer an opportunity for them to learn about the business of football.
