You will notice ice caves appearing all over the world. It’s the Winter Warrior’s doing. This is how the world will look like if the Winter Warrior’s plans come to fruition. Even if they don’t, these caves will remain even after the festival ends. Now, let’s see what New World players can do during the festival to stop winter from taking over. They will join forces with the Winter Wanderer. To help him, players will complete repeatable tasks and collect tokens. The tokens are exchanged for cosmetics. The Winter Wanderer’s good part becomes stronger each time a token is acquired and exchanged. The items that can be acquired during the festival include armors, weapons, consumables, skins, and furnishings. A new emote is available as well. It’s the present gifting emote. It matches the theme of the holiday. The festivities can be enjoyed in four villages. The Winter Wanderer has chosen Monarch’s Bluffs, Brightwood, Everfall, and the Weaver’s Fen to make an appearance. He has various tasks for the players. The winter activities include completing special town projects, recovering gifts, collecting meteor parts, and the main story quest line.
